Sure. I read war comics like Sgt. Rock as a kid, and finished with Futurama- which Bongo Comics stopped several years ago printing.

Comics cross all age and economic boundaries. Inside the comic book store (it was a nice store) you'd find kids with their bicycles chained together out front mixed with guys older than myself with Mercedes Benz's in the parking lot.
