Just got done watching Captain America Civil War; Why are the avengers being blamed for sokovia?

I’ve been recently watching marvel movies on Disney plus and I watched age of Ultron a few days ago and in my opinion it’s not their fault, they literally saved the world from extinction and it wasn’t their fault that the city fell and killed people, I guess I could see how it would be tony’s fault for messing with the mind stone and making ultron in the first place but to blame the whole team seems a little unorthodox too me

They blame the avengers because Tony created ultron and the fact they don’t have consequences of their collateral damage nor help clean up the recovery process.


That’s why zemo was like after all that fighting, they just went home like they don’t have to apologize for anything.
