Has this Season's "Big Brother" on CBS became a battle of Skin Color?

Two seasons ago, on finale night of Big Brother 21, the winner of Big Brother was notified that he was a target in social media as a “racist person” for the way he treated one of his former housemates and was finally allowed to respond to the allegations he was just notified of.

Now, skip ahead to this season. The current household was divided into four different groups to battle it out like they normally do on Big Brother. Along with these groups, secret alliances were allowed to be formed as well. One of these secret alliances was named “The Cookout”.

As the game has been played these weeks, individuals were put on the block and evicted from the house, slowly dwindling the numbers of house guests. Just recently (two weeks ago), a conversation was edited into the broadcast between two of the “Cookout’s” members. This conversation included talking about how “all the evicted houseguests were of one certain race”. These two members let it be known that this was their intention from the beginning. They also decided they needed to make sure everyone else in the “cookout” doesn't repeat this “Discovery” in front of anybody else not a member.

This last episode on Thursday, once again had one of the same member of that conversation, trying to silence “that rumor” from being spread around the house.

My question to everyone is:

is it considered racism if it is incorporated with game strategy to win a reality game show

All Fair in Reality games.

No evicence, but having it edited in does get the ratings up.

I heard it mentioned, but, they are all friends and everything will be forgiven.

When I first heard it, I thought nothing of it, but, after the last episode, There is a problem.

After the first eviction, I thought nothing, but after the 3rd eviction, it made me sick to see it

The only reason i dont see this season as racist is because theyre just trying to keep eachother around as long as possible. They still have friends of every color but they wanna see their own get furthest since we usually dont make it far on that show. Now i will say next season will be a mess because either more people of color will team up and actually make it about race OR the non people of color will purposely get out the poc (like theyve done every other season) because this time they’ll assume it was another “Cookout”

So when those two contestants we're in the bathroom discussing another contestant going around the house, commenting to others, which was: “have you noticed that all the people being eliminated have been (race) ?” then one of the cookout members said “that was our plan all along.”
You consider that as" just good game play" ? (I will agree with you on one thing... If this is considered good game-play, it will escalate in the following seasons of Big Brother. I even predict it will become common practice in all reality TV shows from this point forward. That is, until it is going to be considered “bad game-play”. Do you agree?)

Its not gonna work for future seasons because everyone will suspect it. But still, i dont think its exactly about not liking abother race. I just think its about seeing your race finally win something. Theyre teaming together to keep eachother around rather than allowing people outside the alliance to take them out first

I am literally sitting here watching Big Brother on Wednesday night. In the final 5 minutes of the show, I literally watched someone explain to the last white person in the house, that's “the only reason you are going on the block has nothing to do with how good and loyal you been to me, has nothing to do with the way that you voted, nor has anything to do with my game. But, the only reason you are going onto the block is that I cannot put two black people on the block and have everyone look at it as being racist.”
So instead of putting someone up because of their ability to win the game, they were put up because they couldn't put a black person on the block against a black person.
Now forgive me if I thought the competition had nothing to do with skin color, and only had to do with someone's ability to win the contest on their ability to survive the game.
…. But after what I've seen Being actually broadcast across the nation... I cannot have any other thoughts about the integrity of “reality competition based on abilities”

I understand but im glad that Claire reeeeally understands. It was so sad to see her cry but even she said “ive seen black people and poc get pitted against eachother and never get to make it far in past seasons.” So its sad to say bt yes todays episode was absolutely for the culture. And im not liberal but i know only liberals will understand how claire did. Thre conservatives are probably losing their shit rn but its like how can you be mad when its true. Claire doesn't owe these people anything but she knows its true that the black people often got the short end of the stick. Have you not seen season 15 where they were super rude to the two black people in the house? I see this season as redemption for that one specific season. So sorry but claire has to go on this one. Like i said, future seasons will never get the same opportunity so it should happen now 🤷‍♀️
