What's your favorite board game?

Diplomacy (destroying friendships since 1959).
Superficially, it resembles Risk, but there's zero luck involved (no rolling dice or drawing cards), and it's impossible to get anywhere on your own. It's ALL about negotiating with and manipulating the other players - and then ultimately, after 5 hours (or weeks if it's an online game) of working together and building their trust, stabbing them in the back when they least expect it!

Dungeon is out of print and Talisman is (I think) made by a British company. Games Workshop.

Talisman was originally owned by Games workshop, but the latest 4th edition was designed by Fantasy Flight Games until the license recerted back to games workshop just recently

Probably Tigris and Euphrates- Knizia's best. Interestingly, he DID do an update a few years ago, incorporating all the stuff he's learned over the past twenty years, and all the innovations that the renaissance brought, called Yellow and Yangtze. It definitely adds some options, but it's gentler and lacks the power swings and surgical strikes that make Tigris so appealing. I've debated playing around with incorporating elements into the older game, but lack people to experiment with.

I guess I'll have to wait another twenty years, until he releases Indus and Brahamaputra.
