While I wouldn't be completely controlling of my future children activities I prefer if they don't do nothing which is illegal or pertentially dangerous. While I have tons of hobbies I am looking forward to do for myself I definitely thought of a few hobbies I would definitely love seeing my future son or daughter to at least try out.
Good Hobbies- Cooking and Baking, Playing Video Games, Learning a new language, and Probably learning about the world. ( My children don't technically have to actually do non of these stuff but it would be nice if they were interested, alright I give I definitely would make the cooking mandatory because it is a real useful skill to have. Everything on this list I ain't going to be mad if my future children aren't interested in non of these.)
Bad Hobbies- Selling Drugs, Hunting ( I would make them be a certain age if they want to hunt.), Trying to murder someone. ( I hate killers, there isn't nothing great about harming others.) Skydiving ( Again I would make it a certain age to let my children choose something like skydiving.) Politics Or Religion ( Neither aren't really bad but I kinda don't want to see my kids be indoctrinated in these. I definitely make sure it also be a certain age for my child to be able to be interested in those informations.)
As you can see if I have my own children I make sure there be allowed to choose a hobby but I would need to at least see first on what the hobby is, wouldn't want my child to get in trouble or horribly injured.) But what about you ladies and gentlemen if you ever have children of your own which hobbies would you prefer your kid to be interested in? Also which hobbies you definitely don't want to see your kid risk getting into?
To the people who want to have kids, I wonder what hobbies you want to see your kid try doing and which hobbies you don't want them trying out?

I would want them to get into reading and learn to use proper grammar cause I've always had issues with my grammar... I don't want my kid to waste a good education.
I usually have people tell me my spelling and grammar resemblance s little child or a foreigner it hurts sometimes but I don't really mind I usually write for enjoyment. But I sometimes wish I can get better education.

I want my kids to do things that will help them get a scholarship into college if their academics dont get them there first. Cause i ain't tryna pay for that shit. I would like if they tried out for baseball (the guys/girls), volleyball (the girls), and possibly track. But they need to understand that sports are just backup plans, not the main goals. I could see them getting into skateboarding but they won't be touching my collection lol. Dancing for sure cause my kids gotta have rhythm. They won't take boring ass ballet like i did but instead hip hop classes. I want them to workout at least 30 mins a day and wouldn't mind raising future personal trainers. However, i refuse to let it go as far as body builders. I need creative kids so writing poetry, songs and raps is a good way for them to express themselves to me. They could even take DJ-ing classes or produce beats. They need to do some brain games too like letterblox and wordsearch puzzles weekly. Video games will only be allowed on the weekend And for no more than 3 hours a day. I’ll likely only buy them racing games like Forza, Mariokart and N4S. Im iffy about shooting games and GTA (although i admit i loved it). I do worry about racing games influencing their driving skills though. Anyways, they’ll work as a caddy some summers at a country club and drive golf carts for practice. I want them to also practice pool/billiards as well. They need to take some kind of self defense class like karate (but no boxing) and also maybe some type of survival training at least one week a year. Scrapbooking is ideal to keep up with their life story. I’d like if they learned carpentry/shop or how to play the cello or something so they can make bank playing at peoples weddings. At 21, i’ll introduce them to the casino so they can really make bank. Im not trying to raise singers, actresses/actors, models, gamers, strippers, youtubers, drugdealers, and social media influencers tbh. But i will be raising little hustlers who use their brains and skills as a means to make money. Im not a big fan of guns although my dads family is but yea my kids won't be Hunting either.
Yes i love long questions and responses if the person has a sense of humor :) And yea my mom placed me in ballet from age 3-8. I enjoyed it until they wanted us doing some crazy splits and backflips stuff around age 8. I said fck that
No, no you got this all wrong. You want your kids to get into politics for the purpose of world and then galactic domination! *shakes clenched hand*
And yes i want my kids to know how to hunt, fish, chop wood, make fires and all that. If shit ever goes south in society they can still live off the land. It's one of the kindest things you can do for your kids, to teach them to appreciate nature and live under a variety of different conditions. Besides wild game is way better for you than farm raised. Also Archery, shooting, maybe fencing, martial arts. Would love for them to pick up an instrument, hopefully a classical one. They'll know how to cook same as I did when I was very young. They'll know how to treat and raise dogs too. Maybe have/maintain an aquarium. Get them into drawing, pastels, etc.
Neat, I ain't the hugest it terms of being an outdoor kinda of guy but if my future son or future daughter does have an activity they chose that requires them to be outside I probably would allow it of course I want to at least supervise don't want my children to get hurt. 🤕 Or worst end up kidnap by some creepy random adult because unfortunately pedophilia became a much larger issue.
Do you mean a gun, I wouldn't know how another man might help? I mean if they found a larger man or come calling for me I probably would be of some help.

I won't get them into Girl Guides because of my personal bad experience with that but I'd like them to find something that gets their body moving, something that helps society and something that helps their brain. Whatever each of these they want to be provided my partner and I have the funds.
