What is the best free app for recording singing?

I don't know about mobile but you should probably just a get daw on your pc and a decent mic.

But my computer doesn't turn on the mic. High tek audio device is passive and I can't activate it.

I myself am not a vocalist so i haven't really dealt much with the mic setup process. So i can't really pinpoint to anything in particular. Im sure you could find something on youtube.

when I take a video of myself singing I am Videopower RED, as it's really really easy to use.

... as a matter of fact, I am an IT guy in a side job, but that's not the point!

If you want to have a decent recording, you need a decent USB microphone. The device manager will let you select what you want to record with.
