She was (metaphorically) made in a factory for entertainment media consumption. There is absolutely nothing unique or special that she brings to the table that isn't also done by a dozen other cookie-cutter popstars.

She can sing, and she's pretty. However, she's like all the other pop tarts when you get down to it. It's like they come off of an assembly line somewhere.
Kinda a silly question. She got famous because of nickelodeon and her amazing singing on there. She just carried on and her voice developed as her career did. I wouldn't say she used her body. Her videos are pretty tame, especially in earlier years.
I think she can actually sing. I've seen videos of her singing acapella and even doing imitations of other singers very well like Celine Dion. So I'll say she is a true artist but she is also very pretty and a great body!
She does pretty good arrangements/coaching on the voice so I assume she has some talent behind her as well as having her looks and marketing team to thank.
Coming from somebody who is not a fan of her songs at all I think she's actually super talented and beautiful (especially during victorious days). Just I wish somebody else could write her songs and stuff. But this girl is like the full package.
I think she’s a great singer. Body wise she’s not much to look at. Face wise she’s like really pretty. Now if you asked do I think she’s trying to sell more by switching and singing all these “sex” songs…maybe.

She is one of the more innovative of their kind performing music live with immogen heaps gloves for example. Takes actual talent.
Ariana Grande - Butera name was not changed she carries her mother's last name Grande Joan. Her Father's last name is Butera, Edward that is her birth name.
Like many autotuned sellouts she's got 0 tallent but many 0's in her account regardless.

Honestly can't see the hype, i had a classmate in college that could easily put her to shame but it all depends on the hand this life deals you.

No she isn't true artist, she has a very pretty face and shape, but lacks the vocal range and songwriting ability to be considered a true artist.
Both all women in singing have this. Why do you think so many of them get plastic surgery. Of course I am only referring to our generation of singers. The 1900s and before actually had talent that would go beyond what people saw in front of them
In my opinion, NONE of the present day celebrities can be considered artists. None is great. Art is beautiful all on its own. Other than sex, violence, and the gutter, what do these celebrities sell, exactly?
She’s a stereotypical Instagram model type. Mediocre talent at best. All this crap started with Paris Hilton years ago and has gradually gotten worse.

Now do i blame her for making the most of it? Heck no. She’s sitting on a winning lotto ticket. But let’s imagine she was unattractive but everything about her voice and performance talent was exactly the same. Would she be ever well known? Most likely not.
