Another manufactured hypnosis pacifier. Compare her "talent" with that of Weird Al. Need I elaborate?
Heck, her lyrics? I've spent more creativity remaking an old 80s tune to be a mix of Sesame Street and Willy's Wonderland!
Let her whine about love and sex. And I'll sing a tune about how to avoid getting dragged to Hell by the Muppets. Let her whine about sex some more, while my DJ Duckslaughter character belts out an edutainment song about killing poultry, set to the tune of Heathens by 21 Pilots. Let her keep whining about the one that got away, while my parody of Justin Timberlake escapes a female serial killer and then battle royales against her in the streets like it's the freakin' Hunger Games!
Let Ariana or Adele or whoever whine about what their vagina smells like. I'll show you how I made an entire Krampusnacht album!
Let Halsey curse someone out over gasoline or sex or whatever tie-in to Orange is the New Black she's gonna attempt next week. And I'll show you a singing pig, doing his own version of Tobey Keith's "How Do You Like Me Now?" themed around Alice in Wonderland!
Better writing talent exists. It's a matter of access to production.

Personally I think she doesn’t present the best message.
She’s had plastic surgery, the music isn’t all that innovative, a few good songs, but honestly her last album for example it was selling itself as this “elegant” sort of pop RnB sound and it just wasn’t. More like “faux-elegance.” Kind of trashy lyrics. Just not a great piece of work in my opinion, yet she’s being marketed as if she’s the “greatest artist of this generation” based on how widespread her presence is.
I don’t think so. She’s being promoted as this figure to look up to for young girls and I’m not seeing much good in that. Sorry. Great voice, but she largely represents what’s wrong with popular music in my opinion. Promoting a fake image and phony packaging. Lacking authenticity.
She's an amazing true artist. sucks people can't see it that way sometimes.

but she was sick this one time while performing this but still aced it through with her true voice and her true talent.she's amazing honestly and has gone through so much in her past, yet stands getting stronger with all the pain. I wanna learn that from her
She obviously has a great voice (but also uses autotune to enhance it) but tbh her songs are too bland for me, I don’t find them catchy and none of them stand out to me like Halo from Beyoncé or Beautiful from Christina Aguilera do. I think she’s better than Selena Gomez Taylor Swift or Olivia Rodrigo though.

Pop Music Industry is a very Political one with a lot of Behind the scene twists and plays. They prioritize Marketablity and Monetization rather than Actual Talent or Art.
There's so many Female artists with Pure Talent and Stay true to their craft.
But the Industry dont really care about Craft.
They'd just want Nice Looking Girls with average or above average talent for Generic Music.
When it comes to music, If lots 10-15 year old girls and popular highschool/college teenagers are relating to it, It's just Generic Music and Not Unique or Authentic.Music is one of the few entertainment industries where your body really doesn't matter much. Style does to an extent for marketing purposes and every major artist that is widely popular without fail has a good marketing team. You need it.
But Ariana Grande is an amazing singer. I wouldn't say her music is better than say Bruno Mars or Adele. But she is an amazingly skilled singer with catchy music tho I wouldn't say great
Bang bang into the room still rings in my ears lolAriana Grande is sh*t at everything she does. And I'm not even trying to be mean; she just outright sucks. So yeah, it's definitely the great marketing. Not that that's rare or anything. Katy Perry is just as talentless, and so was Britney Spears. And so is the entire K Pop industry. They're just dancing monkeys, not actual singers.
Her parents set her up to be marketed at a very young age. They even changed her last name so it was more marketable. She was then mass marketed by pedo producers that work for Disney and Nickelodeon. Those pedo producers typically pick young girls that they think are good looking and can market them. So all in all, I think it’s marketing, but that’s for most artists. Very hard in todays day and age to find a talented artist become famous
She’s very talented, but she also owes a lot of her success and popularity to Nickelodeon.
She's a good singer and she is pretty. She's also got some pretty ghetto values, dates thugs, and of course she doesn't write any of her songs, though most pop artists don't.
She's thus a mixed bag, but she makes money for people so she gets work, and fame, and all the trappings that come with it.She's been singing for a lot of years and a true artist any true artist would have a marketing strategy a visual strategy it's a big game to make as much money as you possibly can I don't like all of her songs but I do like a lot of her songs and yes you are right she is beautiful she is sexy I like your voice I like the way she looks I like the way she acts I like how she carries herself she's a true artist
Marketing mostly. I mean, she's not a bad singer, but there's a few thousand other girls out there who sound exactly the same. In fairness though, pretty much *every* teen star of a Nickleodeon / Disney TV show has tried their luck at singing, and she's had a more successful music career than most of them - possibly the most successful since the days of the Mickey Mouse Club, which obviously gave us Britney, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez (and Ryan Gosling, bizarrely).
As they say, sex sells. And there's a lot of sexual based marketing utilized with all of her videos and promotions. I'd rather listen to music that entails regular musicians who write all their own lyrics and instrumentals. Like most pop artists, she doesn't write shite and doesn't make the instrumentals. "God Is A Woman" for example wasn't even written by Ariana and it wasn't supposed to be sung by her initially. Camilla was the original singer for the song. Hilarious.
I honestly call dibs on the second option. And that goes for most modern "artists", both female and male.
As opposite to art that comes from the last century, none of these people that are at the head of the "hit parades" now are gonna survive the decade. Or generally make history.I am not a teen.
I only know 1 or 2 songs from her. I mainly know her from her Nick show Victorious.
About her music. I don't know if she writes her own music. If she writes the music she sings then I'd say she is an artist. If others write songs and she just performs them than it isn't artistry she would just be a performer... image and choreography.personally i think she is a true artist!! she has an amazing voice and is one of my favourites!! i never watched whichever shows she used to be on🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ so i’m a fangirl just because of the music😊😊
You know my friend thought she was Selena Gomez after the weight loss.
We really had a laugh as he thought they were the same person but she was just playing the "Hana Montana" game.
Anyway, pop music genre in general is shit for me. But in the case of Ariana, she's not really as big as she and her fanbase think she is.I'm not into Ariana Grande's music, just not my style. However, I'd say she is talented and has a pretty amazing voice. It does help her that she is very attractive too. I'm sure there have been other women that have had great voices that didn't do as well because they didn't have the looks to go with it.
Big succes of popstars is often through marketing and finding the audience, though popstars sure also need some features, like talent and charisma, which she does have. But I don't really see much of an artist in her, for one she does not create her own music.. she has an amazing voice but I feel she is more technically good than giving out emotions. But her style is not me either so can also be why I don't sense her.
I didn't even know she was a singer. I jus remember her in icarly being cute and gorgeous. That for sure propelled her to success... Being hot and having a good personality is an art too.. it's not jus something everyone's born with.. it's not like she jus got famous from nothing... Why do you think models get famous?
Being blessed with good genetics is a talent in itselfAriana doesn't have much of a body but she is wrong for making her song God is woman, I lost respect for her ever since she made that song and I used to be such a huge fan of hers but until she made that song with her disrespectful ass.
Sure, she can sing and write some songs too.
But that's not all when it comes to an artist.
An independent artist who dares to speak their mind and doesn't need the industry in order to succeed, there you have in my oppinion a real artist.
Tom Macdonald is one example of that.Seeing how her career started at age 15 in a Broadway music she is a true artist. Her true reason for her success is landing a role on a Nickelodeon show. Her true show of her talents it her ability tranfer smothly from teen idol to mainstream celebrity.
Putting on a successful performance requires a lot of effort and work - it might not require the same type of brain as academic intelligence or STEM intelligence but it’s just as hard as any accounting or waitressing job.
