Thanks: I needed that - it was one of those days.

I could watch these ten times and still find something "new" with each viewing- same with Airplane series. They are just so filled with "impossible juxtapositions" , sight gags, inside jokes, etc. You're barely catching one, when they throw another at you. Nothing is off limits, and having a wide "knowledge base" (as we know you do) helps reap the heftiest humor harvest (combination alteration and analogy- heh-heh).

LN does a great job making the transition to hilariously insane parts in this series and Airplane series, as well.

When I saw the first two, I kinda thought I was gonna die from laughing. Not joking, looked up if it ever happened after the opening credits. Those movies are still funny.

Yes - and they're funny as hell. I like sophisticate humor and dry wit. But sometimes, I just want some good sophomoric laughs. Mel Brooks is one of my favorites, by the way. Young Frankenstein and Blazing Saddles, in particular. Yeah, they're not politically correct, but who cares?
