No, I don't only because Chris Rock chose not to press charges. However, even though I don't agree with Cancel Culture at all, THIS would be a valid reason to "cancel" someone, as would anything that is outright illegal or physically hurting another person. And yet, this lunatic wins an award for it and the phonies that run The Oscars won't even bother to strip him of his award for what he did. If Chris Rock was female, gay, or trans, you KNOW Will's ass would've been canceled. It shows just how pathetic and two-faced Hollywood is.

Pressing charges or not should be up to Chris Rock, and personally I doubt he will. He's a pretty laid back guy who doesn't want to escalate things, and most of the other actors he hangs out with are the type to crack

The Academy should strip Smith of his award, however. This also probably won't happen because frankly Hollywood is a joke when it comes to morals or consistency, or even it's own image.

Not necessarily. It was just a slap. My only problem with this situation is that if a normal person had struck Rock, they wouldn’t be getting a break from the police like Smith is getting. They really don’t need Rock to press charges. They have the entire incident on video. Not only wasn’t he charged, he got to remain in the building for the rest of the ceremony. An average person would not have gotten such preferential treatment by police or event security.

If this was even real, the only way charges can be pressed is if the person assaulted presses them.
Since Chris Rock already said he will not press charges.
No charges will or should be pressed.
