Vulcan - renowned for their strict adherence to logic and reason as well as their remarkable stoicism.

Klingon- a proud, tradition-bound people who valued honor and combat

Ferengi- possess great cunning, and can sometimes hide that fact very convincingly. They can also possess a great aptitude for economics, sciences, and engineering, and they are the among the best negotiators in the galaxy in regards to earning profits

Borg- No single individual truly existed within the Borg Collective (with the possible exception of the Borg Queen), as all Borg were linked into a hive mind which connected all of them and allowed information from every drone who had been brought into the collective to be shared. Their ultimate goal was the attainment of 'perfection' through the forcible assimilation of diverse sentient species, technologies, and knowledge which would be added and absorbed into the hive mind.

The Q- a species of nigh-omnipotent and immortal non-corporeal entities who inhabited the limitless dimensions of the cosmos known as the Q Continuum.

Cardassian- bold in large numbers... cautious by themselves... and with an instinctive need to establish a dominant position in any social gathering.

Of course, Star trek was my parents show, I find the Orville way hilarious. Don't know if you've seen it yet, but in that case I'd want to be a Retepsians or perhaps a Xelayan.

The ONLY TV show I've actually watched in the last year is the Orville and they just delayed season 3 from March to June.

I did play star trek online for a time back when I was a teen for awhile with some friends.

Q, most likely. Nearly omnipotent power. Probably seems most beneficial. Be wherever I want, look like whatever I want, mess with lesser species… or even help out.


Trill (joined) at least a days worth of memories would be passed on… mind you, trill more like Curzon or Jadzia, not Trill like the TNG trills (the ridges); Great if your other hosts would get along, or you gain confidence and new skills, but I think I’d have issues with other memories, or suddenly hating foods I loved, or suddenly new “ticks” or quirks. Gaining Toban’s nervousness, or a sudden fear of something… or even just remembering other hosts deaths… or if a past Trill did something horrible (like Joran or Verad), no. I don’t think I’d go for that. I’d go crazy from the guilt.


Ferengi - eh. If I was good at earning profit, and fairly honest, maybe. But to have ears that sensitive right out in the open, where someone could just grab and twist… it’d be like someone grabbing my gonads. Just for a little profit, maybe, and that Betazeds couldn’t read me… Nope.


Klingon, while I kinda like the family dynamic, and the strength, too high a risk of death from challenge.

Definitely Klingon. I sometimes feel like I'm a Klingon pretending to be civilized; there's no character to whom I relate more than Worf. Klingon ethics seem so relatively simple and makes perfect sense to me.

That's not to say I'd be a good Klingon. I might just end up getting my ass kicked left and right. Yet I understand Klingon's way of thinking; it makes more sense to me than even the human way.

Vulcans would be the least appealing to me. Who wants to party with Vulcans? Boooorinnng! I'd rather hang out with Ferengi than Vulcans, and that's not saying much at all. Romulans might be my second favorite besides Klingon.

But I love competition, meritocracy, and simplicity. Klingons just make things so simple. Who should lead this task? Let's fight and compete for it; the winner gets to lead. That's so simple! I don't understand why we humans make things so convoluted.

Romulans might seem like a bizarre second choice since their ways contrast so differently from the honor-bound and direct ways of Klingons. Yet I think immersing myself in such a culture might teach me ways to navigate and deal with people like this better. Plus they at least know how to party and have a good time! :-D
