Yeah Robin Williams is a great choice. I actually would have chosen him if he were still alive and definitely first choice if they could resurrect him.
- 15 d
Indeed he was.

He is dead and can represent no one.

@NoDecision zombies, religious cults and the undead need to be resurrected
- 13 d
Robin Williams is dead so won't be representing anyone.

@NoDecision he can be resurrected and be like Jesus 2.0

Was also gonna pick Keanu. I mean, he already has the experience, he did play an alien representative to Earth and all

I'd be too peaceful to represent the human race. They might think I'm the way everybody else is and then, they'd get a glimpse of some of the assholes on this planet and probably say I misrepresented the race.
But, they've been coming here for millions of years and I'm sure they already know what we're like. Quite a few are living here among us, now!317 Reply- 15 d
@Dongie I wouldn't mind, I just think they'd get the wrong idea about us, if they hadn't already seen the way we are, by now. If they wanna come visit me, great! I'd love to have them, as long as they do ME no harm.
At best, all I can do is warn them that not everybody here is as kind and civil as me. But, I WOULD TRY to be hospitable (though I don't have a lot of experience being like that when people visit. It is something I'm trying to fix but, SOME practice would help!!) and as helpful as I can.
I went to wash dishes yesterday and spotted a young doe in the back yard directly under my window as I was opening it. She heard the window squeak and ran over the hillside but I told her she's got nothing to worry about and that I'm not gonna hurt her. For a few seconds, I imagined, what if that was an alien. I'd still treat it the same way. No need to be afraid of me.
If anything, I'd be more afraid of it because of the Varginia (S. America) incident a few years ago. Some little girls saw an alien hiding in their yard and anybody that got too close to it ended up with some kind of radiation exposure issues. - 14 d

@Dongie There used to be a very early morning radio show in the mid `70's where the host would talk about a certain topic for an hour or two and play fairly boring records every so often that had something to do with the topic, stuff that nobody else ever played on the radio, and the music he used for the opening theme was the start of, "Sympathy For The Devil"!! I never heard of it before then but, it was really creepy and scary at about 6 a. m. on a Sunday morning as the start of a very boring radio show that almost nobody listened to!! This was when hippies were still kinda in charge and disco was just rearing its ugly head. The Billy Jack crowd.
For some reason, I was sleeping on the floor in the dining room that night and woke up REAL early for some reason and turned on dad's portable radio just as that started playing! Why didn't they just play, "Revolution 9" and have done with it? - 14 d

Keanu would be such a terrible representative for the aliens’ sake though. Imagine meeting such a chill kat and thinking an entire race was even remotely similar. Then going out into the world and meeting regular, rude and dysfunctional people. Ell oh ell!
I think we should send them a handful of AI representatives. Given that some of them have gone bonkers and others are relatively harmless and helpful, i think that’s the safest way for ALFs to learn about mankind.10 Reply - 15 d
I'm having trouble coming up with someone specific who fits the bill, but someone two-faced, to represent both the good and bad side of humanity, while at the same time showing how deceptive, sneaky and manipulative we are
I don't want aliens to have a biased image of us, I want them to see how most of us truly are.
10 Reply - 14 d
Scott Bakula would be my choice. He has experience dealing with aliens in his role as Captain Jonathan Archer on Star Trek: Enterprise, and as a time traveler as Sam Beckett in Quantum Leap.

Keanu Reeves, Henry Cavill, Isha Blaaker (he has to be included), my dad etc because I’d like to keep it realistic and not only show the best. They should also see some of them who aren’t that great. Among women, maybe a few nerdy Instagram girls who keep the world spinning because they don’t like gross or blood curdling things. That would be like an appeal to forgive us humans because many are just shitty. Showing only the best men who aren’t even the majority is not realistic

Honestly, that’s a solid choice. Keanu just gives off peaceful, humble energy. If I had to pick, maybe someone like Tom Hanks or even Zendaya—people who seem genuinely kind, grounded, and good at connecting without ego.
10 Reply Anyone but Trump. He would probably want the aliens to pay for the privilege of visiting us. As a reaction, they might prefer to stay away or just blow us out of space.
21 Reply- 14 d
It's simple.
Send us all, this is the only true way to be representative.
21 Reply- 13 d
It is the anarchistic way, as in true and absolute representativeness, it's very time consuming though.

20 ReplyThe guys from Star Talk. Neil for the smarts and Chuck for the levity. They would know better what to ask, but also more normal than the smartest people since they lack social skills.

Bob Geldof of course.
Although, if they appear to be overly aggressive, then it could be better to feed them Trump first. A full belly makes a calmer alien.
02 Reply Honestly me. I would give it to them straight how things are, someone like Trump and we are over.
