For years when we took the kids to a restaurant one of them would grab the check when the waitress would bring it. One of thr kids would say "What is it Mikey, a threatening note?" and the one with the check would say "Worse than that, It's the check."

I was going to ask a question about TMNT myself, but I might as well post it here.

Favorite TMNT iteration is a tie between the original 90s movie and 80s/90s cartoon. Yeah, the original series got bad at times, especially when they tried to be all edgy, but it's still the best TMNT in my opinion.

I HATED the 2003 show when it was originally on. Now that was edgy as f*ck! However, over time, I've come to appreciate it a lot more because they were trying to be accurate to the original comics (which to be fair, I never read). But man, those first two seasons had NO charisma at all and they tried to be way too serious! I really like the art style though and how they tried to make every turtle look different in color.

Nickelodeon was HOT GARBAGE in the 2010s, especially the early 2010s, so I never saw the 2012 TMNT. I also HATED the CGI paper mache art style, and I still do, to be honest. They also ruined April O'Neal by making her a little brat, when she was supposed to play the big sister role and had in every iteration up until that. But I heard from people that the writing was really good. Even if that's true, the art style is horrendous and I can't get into it.

And the Rise of TMNT with the woke, black April O'Neal (cause Hollywood gotta blackwash all the Gingers)... Yeah, we don't talk about that one. That one's not even canon.
