Haha, I remember watching it but don't remember seeing the ending... i thought it was a tv series LOL, is it a movie? My childhood memory ain't too clear... even so, maybe it is not a rip off because the story is supposed to probably live on in our hearts and is probably occurring somewhere in another realm..

The movie had two sequels, and they were both shit, so we'd be better off if The Never Ending Story DID end after 1h 47m.
