Why do you not have a profile picture showing your own face?

The main reason I don’t have it is because I would be embarrassed if people I know offline saw some of the questions and opinions I have written on this website.
Also I’m not interested in meeting anybody on this website so I don’t plan to put a profile picture showing my face.

Buuuut it's better than someone else because I could be a white model with green eyes and silver hair, and everyone will believe it and call me cute. :)

I don't show my full face as I don't want to reveal my identity. One can easily know who I'm because of popularity of my parents. However the girl in the pic is me only.

Two reasons. One, because of facial recognition software and identity theft, it's a good idea to keep a low profile on the web. Two, I haven't figured out how to change my avatar. 😑

Because I value my privacy. This is a site full of people I will never know personally or interact with. No one needs to know who I am or what I look like.

My looks shouldn't matter on this site, it's my opinion, knowledge and experience that matters. So I won't let shallow people decide my words worth just because if they feels I am attractive or not.

Because literally over a thousand people know me IRL and it is possible that some could be on here now or in the future. I don't want it affecting my job.

Last time I had a picture of me as my profile picture on my other account that I deleted for another reason that is personal someone felt they need to because they wouldn’t say it to my face decided to call me a n****r as an opinion on my question

I used to have one, and I was receiving up to 100 messages a week on here. Now I am mostly anon with no profile pic to avoid the g@g stalkers and creeps.
