As for anime I really enjoyed Trigun, Gurran Lagann, Code geass, Ghost in the Shell movie, Akira, and Megalo box, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and Steins Gate. For manga Berserk is really great and All you need is kill is also awesome. I also enjoy watching the Bladerunner movies

I've really been enjoying the Ciaphus Cain series of Warhammer 40k audiobooks.

Guy is a chad, and pretty much full of shit which I find relatable.

I haven't watched that many science fiction stuff but gundam is a pretty good one, i started watching some of the shows in that series due to a friends recomendation, its an anime focusi g on giant robots.
