I can't understand liking an overly loud, obnoxious, ratchet and annoying celebrity with such lack of talent.

Her looks play a huge role and she's unapologetically herself. She does things a lot of people are afraid to do, even if it isn't what some find appealing. If she didn't look the way she did, she wouldn't be as famous. Even if people don't agree with her behavior, she owns it. So that shows a sense of confidence and badassery that people are drawn to.

and then you happen to like the same thing a ghetto type guy... the only difference is that Cardi is a woman, and the one you like is a guy
