I can never enjoy them holistically. I got scenes I keep remembering like Into the Woods:

They devolve into fragments for me like, "That's interesting, that's not so much." And I'm left with memories that don't add up to an entire movie, but maybe a memorable scene here and there.

Yes. Yes, I do. Operas, too- I find it very strange how one is considered "high" culture and the other so often "low" when the only real difference is whether they're in English. I wonder if German or Italian cultures have the same issue...
