I was curious about this because I am a singer and always wondered if men enjoy musicals. I'd like to work on some projects to help catch male attention as well.

I love musicals, especially the old Rodger's and Hammerstein, and Rodgers and Hart musicals of the 1950s and 60s: Carousel, Oklahoma, etc.. And Andre's Lloyd Webber musicals Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, JC Superstar, etc,

I recently watched Hamilton live in person for the first time, and I have been absolutely obsessed with the music ever since! Doing a broadway/musical marathon in New York is now officially on my bucket list. 😊

Usually no. The only exceptions would be Chicago and Cabaret. Cabaret is listed as a musical, but most of the songs and dances were up on that stage in the club, and there was enough 'movie' to it that it had a real story.

I will make an exception for Grease, though, mostly because I grew up with it and because the music was great.

Yes, and live onstage the most. Was in a few and stage crewed several back in HS and college... so I also really enjoy seeing what the venue does with sets and lighting etc... A bit of light fun for a night out and a chance to dress up.

Generally I don’t like musicals and I hated disco. I liked “Grease,” though. It did annoy me that the song “Greased Lightning” had incompatible equipment on the car, though.

Good musicals are very fun. Especially musical comedies. Some have insanely impressive dancing coordination, too.
