Quite a few. I like Les Mis (read the book in eighth grade because a friend was being taken to see the play at the end of the year and wanted to understand what was going on, so he wanted someone else to read it to prod him forward; I finished it over a single weekend, at the same time he did, which annoyed him to no end.
I've never seen the stage version of Paint Your Wagon, but the movie was fun- and it always freaks people out a little to hear Clint Eastwood singing.
And while I don't think it got a theatrical release, and only kind of counts as a musical, I've always had a soft spot for The Christmas Toy (the movie Toy Story ripped off).
In theater: Spamalot
Movies: Tommy
I like musicals, especially those from the Golden Age of musicals, shows like Carousel, Oklahoma, Guys and Dolls, Music Man, West Side Story, plus later shows including Mary Poppins, Sound of Music, Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Joseph and the Amazing Color Dreamcoat, Wicked, Les Miserables.
Mamma Mia,
The Greatest Showman,
The Miserables,
Footloose,
... does Pitch Perfect count as musical? I mean it's same genre as Footloose, right?I like the best Polish musical Metro I know all the songs :D
I also like Fiddler on the Roof, Cats, and Mamma MiaMy Fair Lady (stage with Julie Andrews)
West Side Story
The Fantasticks
Pippin
Hair
A Chorus Line
Cats
At least those are the ones I know well.Moulin Rouge! is my favorite.
The Blues Brothers. The only musical I actually enjoy watching, probably because it's a comedy too.
I’m honestly not much of a fan of musicals to tell you the truth but there have been a few I enjoyed. Hamilton and the Wonka movie
I sure do, I like Phantom of the Opera, Lion King, and Mamma Mia, just to name a few.
It wasn't really a musical but it had a great soundtrack. https://upload. wikimedia. org/wikipedia/en/e/e6/American_graffiti_ver1. jpg
I've always loved the musicals Hairspray and Grease
You consider "School of Rock" a musical?
"Mama Mia"
Musicals annoy the shit out of me. I don't understand the appeal
I generally don't like musicals, but School of Rock is good. In the old school vein, Oklahoma is catchy.
No. Pass. Rather hear a motorcycle engine.
