I think the Andy Griffith Show has ben on reruns ever since it's first showing on TV. I've seen several episodes. So interesting that Ron Howard started as Opie on this show, became Richie Cunningham on Happy Days and then became a leading movie director.

Simpler times with simpler sets told difficult lessons in a simpler way. I watched a few episodes with my daughter when she was young.
Now days the scene changes every few seconds to different facets of the story. Flashy lights and noises, Fight scenes to keep the attention. And its all exhausting. There is a clear peace when a show is over. But little in the way of lesson.

I really enjoy watching the reruns especially the early seasons with Don Knott's.. When the show transformed from black and white to color it wasn't the same especially when Don Knott's left the show and it got really boring
