Filmed in 1958, it's a very funny movie. Don Knotts has a small role in it. I guess they didn't know what they had with the two yet. Although Will Stockdale is a very different character than what Andy would become better known for.

It's about this hillbilly, Griffith, that gets drafted into the Air Force. He's kind of uneducated and extremely strong physically. It makes for some funny shit. He can drink alcohol like a fish, too. It's real funny.
