I went to see the movieExcellentI was looking forward to it obviouslyWhat i enjoyed about it, historical, but mostly the way the relationship between him and Josephine was explored. In that way it made the story work. A list of battle victories wasn't going to make a good movie. I can't vouch for the historical accuracy either about France or about the personal lives but to me it seemed credible without being too controversial. I don't see why the French would be offended or anything.

Nope, haven't. Will watch it at home, at some point, as I'm not interested in the story, but Ridley and Joaquin are da bomb, best of the best in their fields.
I hear it got panned by the French press. They said it was "Pro-British, Anti-French". As Ridley says, "Grow up" lol.

  He improvised his dance in that public restroom. Wasn't it fantastic?
  I watched that, and the scene of him dancing down the stairs, so many times. Wow.
