Has anyone watched the movie, Napoleon?

It's a very typical Ridley Scott movie, which is to say it's well made, but not exactly historically accurate. Any attempts to show Napoleon's brilliant military mind are frankly eclipsed by inadequate quality writing- a problem often referred to by critics as, "characters can only be as smart as the writers."

It does Napoleon pretty dirty (some will no doubt argue it's full on character assassination) and gives an odd amount of attention to his wife rather than his sisters, who had a much more significant role as his advisors. One of the major problems though is you can't really do a one-off movie about Napoleon and do that period justice; it should be at the very least a miniseries or trilogy.

Saw it here yesterday - Loved it , which the movie was around when I was studying this stuff.
