my answer is yes. I have a friend that's about 9 months older than me who is a furry, he's a dinosaur furry and posts his dinosaur mask videos on Likee, TikTok, and YouTube.

Story time! One day, I'm at work, doing my thing as a bus driver. I pass a connvention center on my route, and today (Friday), it's packed, with a big crowd going in and out. Traffic shifts, and I see a guy (I think) in a full-body wolf costume, which is something even I don't see every day. Behind him, still odder, walks an otter (or a person dressed like one, anyway). And behind HIM is an axolotl. Sadly then I had to move, so I saw no more of the Parade Of Weirdos.

But that veekend, I was with some friends, and mentioned what I'd seen. One of tdose folks has friends in the furry community, and said it must have been one of their conventions. "But," I said, "one of them was an axolotl. They don't have fur."
"Yeah," he answered, "some of them don't do mammals. They call them 'scalies'. "
"But, " I repeated, "ha was an *axolotl*."
Blank stare.
"Axolotls are amphibians."
Blank stare.
"Amphibians don't have scales!"
Apathetic shrug.

I have no problem with people dressing up as animals and doing... whatever it is that they do (unless it's something like bank robbery, but I think we'd've heard about that by now), but I'd at LEAST like them to get their terminology right.

I mean there is nothing to support. Furries are a subculture. This would be like saying do you support goths. You can be one or like them, but it's not support as if it would be for LGBT.
Then to me it's cringe, weird and overall not a thing I like. So if you asked do I like them? no.

I don't hate them and wouldn't throw hate to them. But I gotta admit I laugh at reddit memes about furries and also use the word as a joke with friends, I find it cringe af, ngl.
