What Is Your Favorite Spaceship?

Can I have the NX Enterprise? Not the show just the ship. It is one of the better designed and more believable ships of any TV series; maybe or maybe not aesthetically but for what the show universe needed it to do, it was the best. It’s not an overpowered fanfic, it’s not the biggest or the best at anything, but it does reflect the pre-federation human military design philosophy, and still manages to also ge a science ship and be a diplomatic ship and be a tough nut to crack. The Enterprise A and refit were cool, the B was a fanfic, the C was just basically skipped but had potential, the D was an insult to the memory of the previous ships, and the E is a gigantic, overpowered fanfic that is as nimble as a fighter plane with the power to slay borg cubes. I’ll take the NX and the era it served in any day of the week.
The Nostromo, from "Alien", and the derelict from "Aliens". There's amazing attention to detail, and the contrast between the two is very striking. There's an interesting article about the typography (among other things) here: https://typesetinthefuture.com/2014/12/01/alien/
Also, I know these don't really count, but anyway...
The Sarang facility from "Moon". Again, the attention to detail is incredible, especially on such a low budget. The film's conceptual designer, Gavin Rothery, has a wonderful website, packed with fascinating behind-the-scenes stuff here: http://www.gavinrothery.com/they-never-went-to-the-moon
The Omega 76 space station from "Space Station 76". It's a generally terrible movie, but a great example of retrofuturism, which I love.
That link's a really good read, thanks! https://typesetinthefuture.com/2014/12/01/alien/
The millennium falcon was built a short drive from me at pembroke dock and is the last "ship" they built. Sadly it was chopped up for firewood after filming.
But we do have a housing estate built in the same shape
That is awesome to see this! Thank you for showing me something new about the SW universe.
I voted E!
I haven't seen any of these movies but the Battlestar Galactica really caught my attention.
My eyes just kept naturally gravitating to it.

It also has the highly developed Emergency Medical (and later Command) Hologram, as portrayed with excellent performances by Robert Picardo, this feature alone really singles out this ship as being vastly superior to other sci fi offerings.
I went with the Enterprise, but since other people are referring to video game ships, mine would have to be the Cobra, seen bottom left in this incredibly high resolution and realistic screenshot.
John Glenn's Friendship 7 < man's first orbital space flight
@exitseven Did you forget about Yuri Gagarin? John Glenn is the first American, and (later) the oldest American to orbit the earth.
@exitseven I'd like to think that Glenn was first to orbit but, according to what I was taught, and per Wikipedia, "Gagarin completed one orbit of Earth on 12 April 1961." while Glenn's 3-orbit flight was on "February 20, 1962."
The Hyperion from StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.
I like the design of the Enterpise and the millennium Falcon, But I think the Enterprise has a design floor because if the engines are on the lower part of the ship, So if it were to propel it forward at the speed of light so to speak the bottom part would simply break off without the top part.
Personally I'd have one of the warships from EVE Online.
Ah yes. I always liked the Minmatar Maelstrom and the Amarr Abaddon Battleships.
One of my own creations. It’s a blend of a Star Destroyer type shape but it has hexagonal docking bays on either side like a Battlestar. I named it the Solaris. If I find one of the pictures of it later I’ll link it.
I'm glad you have the original (and only, in my view) "Galactica" there, and not the one from the crappy SJW remake of the show.
Probably the Normandy SR-2 From Mass Effect.
Runner ups are,
Destiny and Odessey from Stargate Universe and Atlantis respectively
USS Defiant from Startrek DS9
Rocinante from The Expanse
...
The Benatar from Guardians of the Galaxy. The exterior is pretty sleek and I'm just a huge marvel fan.
My favorite is the TARDIS.

The ''Valley Forge'' would be just right for me.
@goaded I'm not too sure about Galactica. A ship run by a wild West Hero (heh heh) could only catch my attention for ONE episode. However: with Bruce Dern you are right. But in ''Family Plot'' (das Familiengrab) he ruined a Ford Mustang; I can't forgive him :D - Anyhow - ''Silent Running'' is a great movie.
As Gag's only SpaceGalaxy man, i prefer this:
The Planet Express Ship from Futurama:
Enterprise, but the one Jane Greenaway was captain of,,,
The Prometheus from Stargate SG-1
