Does anyone else find the Final Destination movies kinda silly and not real horror?

What would be real horror movie then? since quite literally all of them all unless your telling me a guy coming in my dreams to kill me with blades on his hands is realistic. Or a guy who only kills on Halloween weekend to then be shot 7 times without dying to just come back next year is.

Most horror isn't "real" horror, and I don't think most are. Those movies are quick thrills. To be horrifying would imply that you are horrified. Usually, I get one startled jump from those movies. Not even hereditary scared me, and I think horror movies are disappointing. I'm either not the audience, or the directors are missing something in the formula.

That maybe true that they're silly, but I for one stay away from flatbeds carry logs, pipes, etc. So it can really happen in the real world.

Those are the only ones that I would ever even consider watching, besides the Scary Movie series. I do not like horror movies at all, but those are at least tolerable.
(Then again, they still freaked me out a lot, so I'm not really interested in seeing them again.)

I'm not really sure, I think I have to re-watch the whole thing because I only saw every part once and I was still in high school then. Maybe I'd have more opinions about it now.

If I'm not mistaken, the series is a so called splatter movies. They focus more on gore. Then mix the b rated movies shitness magic and bam, final destination.
