Trending & News Yes, my mother used to watch him and Richard Pryor when I was a kid. Of course I didn't get the jokes so much when I was younger, but watching him again now, he was very funny. Comedians today just aren't the same.
Yes, my husband introduced me to him. I have been hooked ever since.
fantastic. i hope more watch and learn of him

He's not great. The thing is that for this kind of comedy to work, you need to leave the audience thinking "Wow! I never would have thought of that, but you're right / that makes sense!" - but all of his observations are just very, very obvious, and not insightful at all.
It probably doesn't help that he's choosing exactly the kind of topics which people will have thought about a lot already - religion, abortion, etc. For the routine he did on abortion, what he was passing off as jokes, were just exactly the same comments that have long been made by serious campaigners and activists (eg. the GOP are only interested in unborn babies, and as soon as they're born, they're on their own). He also seems to stretch his material pretty thin.
I think Dave Gorman does this kind of comedy best - he takes more mundane but relatable topics, makes more insightful observations, and has a better style of delivery (with the help of powerpoint presentations).
George Carlin has some biting commentary on the state of life and living these days. Most of the time he is pretty much spot-on in his observations.
I do get saturated pretty fast with the vulgarity of his presentation, though the earthy delivery sometimes delivers a much stronger message than would be otherwise conveyed.
I've heard of him but I haven't actually seen any of his content.
you should watch more of him. you'd like his stuff on abortions especially
very pro-choice: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgjGwOByays&t=241s
I don't know who he is and I also never saw him.
He made comedy out of everyday life like his one on shopping carts and stupid things people do he would have a lot to work with now if he was still alive
You're going to kill me... but I've only seen him in the movie Jersey Girl. 😬
One of the best comedians who ever lived. Too bad he died back in 2008.
Never heard of him or seen him actually
Wow really? Age 54 and never heard of one of the biggest comedians in history?
I loved him, but they took him off Spotify :(
He's great! I love his routine on religion.
