Okay for those that didn't know what it is

Here is its correct name

high beam headlight floor switch

It cost about 5 bucks to replace it, today's cars it cost about 2 Grand

It cost that much , because its built into the steering column. So you have to remove the steering column and you have to completely dismantle it to replace a simple switch

The old way, you lift up the floor covering around the switch and remove two screws.

I have two cars at the moment, one is 2020 model and the other one is 2004 and it still has this and i prefer it over the new ones. Because i can fix it by my self while the new ones you have to take it to a certificate mechanic to open the damn thing and fix it.

My first car was a Chevy Malibu 1978 (like the photo which is not mine) 4 doors and i used to fix it all by my self. Miss that car

Probably the brights switch or if it’s really old then it’s the engine start switch
