Congratulations! I'm impressed by how many people said it's the closeup of an insect eye, which is correct. Though some said it's a dragonfly, the information that I have (where I got the picture online) is that this is the closeup of the compound eye of a common housefly.

It’s dragon fly because I noticed the hairs on the eye and the bubbles on the eye. Praying mantis have very smooth and brighter green eyes. No hair on their face unless ofc it’s a special kind of mantis (there are different kinds). Either way my answer is buzzed in but I think I know what it is lol.

Not sure, definitely not a compound eye looks more man made. I was thinking guard of electric shaver at first or some type of filter. It does bare a slight resemblance to those gauze on Tilley lamps you light.
