Before i had dvr where i could fast forward past commercials... my fam would repeatedly watch The Temptations and the Jackson 5 story. Omg those movies are like 2 hours on dvd but 5 hours on tv 😭 I’d cry myself to sleep. Wake up and its still on lol. I wasn't as into Little Richard, The Five Heartbeats, Whats Love Got to Do, etc

That must have been either "The Bridge over the River Kwai" from 1957 with Alec Guinness and lasting about 2 hours 40 and "Gone with the Wind" from 1939 with Clark Gable and Vivien Leigh and lasting a full hour longer than the previous one.
Some weren't really long time wise but they sure seemed like they lasted 5 hours.
Not in any specific order.
Titanic, it sank.
Piano, there was 1 tree that was smoking throughout the whole movie
Chariots of fire. Got a nice nap in.
Les Miserable, the musical. Death could not have come soon enough
"Attack of the Killer Tomatoes", but that's not because of the duration of the movie. It's because that movie is so painful to watch that it wasn't until my third attempt that I finally was able to watch it completely.

“Cleopatra” (1963) 248 minutes.
“Lawrence of Arabia” (1962) 222 Minutes.
“Gone with the Wind” (1939) 221 Minutes.
“The Ten Commandments” (1956) 220 minutes.
“Ben-Hur” (1959) 212 minutes
Those and quite a few other movies had an intermission in the middle.“The Stand” , it’s just over 6 hours long, took 2 dvds for it to fit. Good movie though. “River World” is about 4 hours long, “The Lost Room” , about 4 hours long. These are all good sci-fi’s but were broken up when on tv, a long movie I saw in the movie theater in 1997 was “The Titanic” , about 3 hours
The Greatest Story Ever Told... Tries to tell all the stories of Jesus in one 6hr movie. Believe it's narrated by Charleton Heston anyway big stuff for what it is. Used to watch it on TBN a Christian network. They'd play random faith based movies from the eighties every night. Not my kinda jam now but it highlights a special moment of my life I'd say. I was fascinated by hearing how they made the longest movie I'd ever heard of.
Twilight... that one took ages out of my life
Probably Lord of the rings or Star Wars weekends.
Batman 3. You know, the one with bane...
The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King is about 4 hours. Also, Spartacus and Schindler's list
Lord of the rings. That movie is long as hell but worth it. I even moved forward and watched the directors cut. Still worth it haha!
The Russian production of War and Peace, directed by Sergey Bondarchuk. I watched it on TV where it was broadcast over four days.
Either the Patriot, 2000, with Mel Gibson at 2 hours 55 minutes. Or The Hateful Eight, 2015, also at 2hr 55 minutes. They're both pretty great
"Das Boot" in the 5 hours cut (miniseries to film).
I remember when Titanic was released on two video tapes.
That must have been ''Apocalypse Now''
''The good, the Bad and the Ugly'' felt longer though.
I love both, though :)
Gettysburg. Over 5 hours. They actually had an intermission.
and Lonesome Dove. About 6 hours on a vhs player
Avatar. I was really high though so it felt like hours 😩
Not sure but I don’t watch any movie more than 2hrs long. It tends to get boring after sometime
Probably Citizen Kane. Then Gone with the Wind. The Ten Commandements.
Les Miserables
Very annoying long movie.
Justice League, Snyder Cut. Had to pause it 2 times to pee. lol
I don't recall but I seem to remember seeing one that was about 10 hours long quite a long time ago.
