Being an invalid in a nursing home, or even in my own home, is my nightmare.

I want to be in a bar in (let's say) Colombia, drinking beer and watching football with a good-looking girl sitting with next to me. When Colombia scores the winning goal, "GOAL!", I will drop over dead from a massive heart attack. The girl will lift my wallet, the bar tender will steal my shoes, and a passerby will pull my football jersey off of my body.

That's the way to go out.

I’m not entirely certain i understand his point.
Generally, i’m with Tom Segura on the manner of my death. I just want people to be surprised by the news. Not like, “Well yeah… of course.”. Ell oh ell!

I think he meant live how you want no matter the risk. Don’t drag your life out if there’s no excitement. That’s just my guess.

That’s kind of what i was thinking, but he makes two separate statements. “Die the way you live…” and “don’t drag it out.”
Some people don’t take risks, so dying like they live means dragging it out. For risk takers, it means something different. So the dichotomy of the statement is confusing to me.
