Wokeness ruined the entire point of the character.

I never read the comics but i heard that She-Hulk was never violent in the comics. Normally she is an awkward girl but the she-hulk form have her a massive confidence boost along with superhuman abilities.

The hulk forms are supposed to project the id parts of their personalities, putting the ego and super-ego below it while it is normally reversed. Banner wanted to be angry about all the tragedy that happens around him and (I don't know the name of his neice) wants to be confident so that she doesn't get walked all over.

They try to retcon this blatant disregard for the source material by adding woke propaganda and it definitely deserves criticism.

Yes, you're right. She Hulk is a VERY popular female Marvel character cause she's funny and smart and has a positive likeable personality; something the Disney+ version completely lacks in every way. She Hulk's backstory is tragic too and would've made for excellent television. She Hulk, in the hands of competent writers IS a good idea for a TV show, as she IS an excellent lawyer, with a sense of humor and is strong, but like Batman and Spider-Man, usually wins by her intelligence and wit. This show would've been like Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law, mixed with Phoenix Wright, mixed with The Practice. Instead, it's just pure dogsh*t. Nothing bad to even compare it too; it's just bad all on it's own.

Woke dogsh*t with horrible writing, created by loser diversity hire women who admit they can't even write courtroom drama, thus are literally unqualified for their own jobs. She Hulk is my favorite female superhero too, and Alison Brie was supposed to be the one born for this role. But now I'm glad Disney snubbed her (for being a Netflix star) cause this show is f*ckin' HORRENDOUS. It's like the Saints Row 2022 of TV shows.

They've completely ruined the character between terrible writing and direction (not to mention cringey woke messaging but that's just part of the problem), as well as treating She-hulk like a replacement to the Hulk rather than being her own character like she was in original material. It also doesn't help that the cast and crew keep attacking the potential fanbase- pretty much a modern Hallmark of a terrible production.

It would not be overly difficult to make She-Hulk likeable, true to source, actually funny at times, and distinct from Hulk without having to attempt to overshadow him; if you can make Deadpool work, then you can make She-Hulk at least passable. Instead the show is basically a sitcom that isn't funny, more lecture and diatribe than entertainment, and comes across as low budget despite being put together by the most powerful entertainment company in the world.
