It's art to the viewer/listener (that is, the "consumer") but not the artist.

Let me explain:

Humans who consume art do so by having an emotional response from sensing that art.
Machines do not consume art and have no emotional response to it.
In other words, all consumers are art are human and have emotional response to sensing the art.

Human artists create art as a personal form of emotional expression and/or to communicate or evoke an emotional response - either intended or not - by the (human) consumers of art.

But machine artists have no motivation whatsoever to create art. All they are are tools - a form of art themselves - of "meta-artists" - humans who create machines to create art.

At some point we’re going to have to address how artificial intelligence is going to integrate with people in society. Like dogs have a level of intelligence that we recognize and treat a certain way, laws that relate to their mistreatment n shit. Eventually AI is going to need some kind of law behind it or some sort of integrated rights system. I’d like to see AI be a part of that discussion when it’s time
