Who or what introduced you to Asian dramas?

Last year of high school, I was introduced to Korean dramas by friends😂😂. And lemme tell you, it was worth it. Of late I hardly watch them. But those days I was so addicted to them😩🐧🖤. I started with Korean, then watched Japanese, Chinese and Thai 😩. I was obsessed.

I was first introduced to anime by a friend. I then thought why not check out some Japanese movies and I did like some. Then researched more and found Korean movies and then dramas. and boom A WHOLE NEW WORLD A NEW FANTASTIC POINT OF VIEW. best thing that happened in my life no jokes 🤣 I know that they are unrealistic that's what I'm looking for. I like the funny cringey at times romance. I love cliches. it's like Disney but korean ❤️❤️❤️

Myself. When my great grandfather was dying and I would stay at his house to help take care of him, late at night when he was asleep I watched this movie bridge on the River kwai. Don't ask me why but I became infatuated with the actor sessue hayakawa (I was 13) ever since then I absolutely love Eastern Asian movies, TV shows, and actors.

A malfunctioning television. The house I lived in in college would only get one channel at a time- that is, at any given moment, there was only one channel it was capable of receiving, and it would switch over every few months, with no apparent prompting. At one point, it was the Chicago affiliate of the Korean Broadcasting channel. One of my housemates and I took to watching the soap operas and at one point had quite a flowchart going of trying to map out what the hell was happening.
