Why are Americans very boring?

When the US always makes propaganda about itself, but all the American things look very boring to me:

• They don't have a real history or culture
• Too many fast food and boring foods and coffees
• Very plain language and no detailed English, English is a boring language itself already, when you have conversation with Americans, it is always the same thing and an endless loop
• Stupid Hollywood movies, games, TV series, celebrities and songs

It is like a robotic country.

Look I am as happy to bash the U. S as the next guy. As a European they're like our less intelligent and not very successful sibling who at least has larger than average biceps. That said I still think you're exaggerating.

They have a melting pot of cultures. Not lacking in varieties unique to them. Of course as a young nation they won't compare to much of the rest of the world but what exists is still rich.

Fastfood and alike is part of the American culture. You might not like it just like they might not like actual indian food. But I think most of us are into a cheesy hamburger from time to time. As the melting pot that it is you can also experience a different take on practically any food you like. Which again whilst it might not be to your taste is as much as any country offers.

English is certainly boring in terms of its phonetics. It is a very monotone language. American English is a little less colored than its more coloured British cousin but still essentially the same. In terms of the depth of the language it stands head and shoulders with the best of them. In fact English has the largest passive and active vocabularies in existence credited much to its wealthy variety of synonyms and plethora of words to express the same sentiment twice.

Dialogue is a two-way street. I find that the majority of americans I interact with are interesting in conversation. The rest I think is just you keeping up the tirade. What do you think is a better country and why?

Turkey and Turkish is very rich culturally, best foods, language is very detailed and much more sincere and fulfilling. However, Turks have to work hard on the country and fix their economy and they also have to produce much more. Turkey is not boring.

Turkey absolutely is an interesting country. What makes it better to you is ultimately not something quantifiable though. Turkey is also a cou try on a very short list of countries as unliked as USA. Funny how that went.

The detail you get in English is not reciprocated in Turkish. I am sorry mate. You're just wrong there. This is quantifiable. No matter which metric you use English beats Turkish by about 70% (best case for Turkey).

I fully understand the note of sincerity. The other language I know are all more "honest". It lacks heart, but a part of that is very likely because of how you learn it and it not being your primary language. The schoolbench isn't known for its emotional emphasis.

And yes. Turkey has a lot of things to fix. Not to mention some very pissed off neighbours.

The most powerful country in the world, a military that could decimate all of Europe without so much as a single sweat drop, people from every established continent come to the US by the thousands (and tens of thousands if you count the illegals) every year, a protected Constitution and freedom of speech, and not bogged down in a sh*tshow like the European Union.

But yeah, a country where it's illegal for men to pee standing up, is SO MUCH BETTER than the United States... At least it's just our politicians that are an embarrassment here, and not the entire country itself.

Also, EVERY country on Earth is primarily filled with idiots and humanity is a species that's 99% idiots. I'm currently living in South Korea, which is far more educated than any European nation, and it changes nothing I said.

Sweden lists many more crimes and reports in their rape statistics than most countries which is why the number is as high as it is.
Sweden is objectively rated as a better place to live than the U. S.
Military power comes out to about 1.4 vs 1.3 million standing troops. That is for most intents and purposes the same level of strength.
Larger countries, in a vaccuum, absolutely could wipe smaller ones. The world does not exist independently of each other.
Having more freedom than the US is bad now?
You do not get arrested for jokes or political opinions anywhere in Europe.
I'm somewhat inclined to agree Sweden is last of the Scandinavian countries! But all of them still easily number in the top countries worldwide. Being worst among the best is acceptable.
Canada is basically your version of my country.
Finland and Norway love us in a siblings teasing kind of way. Its why they vote on our bad songs in Eurovision every year.

Now will you make a single real claim or should we just leave this be? If you happen to see the world this way, that's fine. Factually wrong, but ultimately fine.

America doesn't have "A" culture... we have thousands. Every state is essentially its own country. Every state has its own identity and its own history. Every county has its own quirks.

We've got history. We've got culture. But what we don't have, is the requirement to explain ourselves to anyone.
