Why is there more prequel era star wars material than original trilogy star wars material?

Because they lack imagination. The old sci stories are beginning to suck because they thought they could rely on formulas.

New Sci-Fi is much more imaginative and terrifying.

Bold? That’s simple truth. The old sci-fi had some decent story-telling. But it wasn’t very sophisticated most times. Like Star Wars was a basic story. It had awesome special effects, lots of interesting characters. And to tell the other stories it has been mostly rinse and repeat. Except for “Rogue One”

That’s why Star Trek was always the better franchise even though it though it had less potential. They focused on story telling a lot more. Star Wars Strange New Worlds is one of the best scifi series going.

But the stuff on the horizon is awesome! I think it helps that the origin for a lot of this new stuff isn’t American. These perspectives are really new. The Chinese are leading the way.

This series I have been listening to is insane. And I can’t wait until they bring it to Netflix. With the right director and actors this could be the best sci fi series ever.

for me personally i got attached to prequels and clone wars as a kid so thats what i like, but i can find interest in all eras as long as the material isn't boring or there's a good emotional story reason for me to

Well, you gotta like what you like. The clone wars for me was mostly just an action flick. It didn't really focus on story telling. I care little for any of the characters or their issues. I was just eating popcorn between action sequences.

The stuff that is coming out gets into your head. The concepts are amazing.
