Do you like the FOX 2000's animated family comedy "King of the Hill"?

Currently watching Beavis and Butthead 2022 right now. I never once got into King of the Hill, even though I'm sure I watched every season. They're supposedly in talks to reboot it and set it in "modern times" (code word for "it's gonna be woke"), but it's not going to be on FOX and would have a 15 year time jump (the show ended in 2010).

I just kept thinking when I was younger, "What the hell is this show supposed to be about? Is this what small town hicks think is funny? Boring slice-of-life stuff?" Maybe I'm too much of a city slicker to get it, but I never once enjoyed that show.

All I can think remember is the Lutefisk episode where Bobby Hill took a massive sh*t and stunk up the church so bad, it caused an investigation into who did it. ... Yeah.

Still WAY better than "Daria" though, but at least I know that show was for edgy early 2000's teen feminists.

I loved that show.

I watched it, but didn't care that much for it.

I thought that show sucked/was boring.

I never watched it/never got into it.

Beavis and Butthead are funny af and King of the Hill is super funny.

The show Is in the city and nothing to do with country hicks. Just a surbaban Texas family, that's why the Lao dude Khan lived by them cause he thinks he made it lol and Hank Hill being woke? That's impossible he didn't even like being hugged or having to comfort anyone and he went off on Bobby for acting like a girl. One of my fav shows growing up when most the time we had no cable.

Mike Judge did a good job on keeping that woke stuff out of beavis and butthead so far, I'm sure he would do the same for King of the Hill.

But Mike Judge wouldn't have much to do with the reboot. It would be sh*tty woke Hollywood writers ruining it, like they do everything else cause they're just diversity hires. If you look at the names and people who were attached to the reboot, they were kinda woke, and Judge wasn't going to be involved in it much. That's if, a reboot ever happens. I think besides B&B, nothing rebooted has been good so far.

If they ruined King of the Hill that would be whack but I can't see how they would do it by Making Bobby gay cause he was soft as baby shit and into weird shit like Hank says "That Boy ain't. Right" hahaaha but he did date multiple girls on the show. So I can't that and Boomhauer who makes no sense constantly loves women.

You got Dale who thinks everything is a conspiracy and he's right about most things but he secretly pretends to not know his wife is cheating on him with John Redcorn and that Joseph isn't his real son lol but no way he's gay. And then you got Bill and Bill is always lonely and has a crush on Peggy since High-school and his ex wife divorced him and he's been alone sense but he never did anything gay he just is weird around women due to the fact he's been alone and unhygienic lol

Luanne a Lesbian? She dated tons of dudes but she did wanna be like Hank but that's cause he was her only father figure being his niece and he always told her to do girl stuff but she was good at doing manly task.

Peggy is devoted to Hank. And Cotton died. And Khan is married and Azn from Laos. And Connie the daughter of Khan dated tons of guys too besides Bobby. So I can't see how they could make. that show woke at all hahha Maybe a Gay neighbor or Bobby has a gay friend or Connie but I don't think Khan would allow that and neither would Hank hahahahahahha

As far as Bill goes? I wouldn't be surprised if they made him trans. Dale would be portrayed as the "idiotic Trump-worshipping conservative." They'd leave Hank alone, for the most part. Boomhauer would get MeToo'ed and forced to become "a reformed man," aka a cuck/simp who now worships even bitchy women. Peggy would become a Karen feminist and Kahn's daughter would be an intersectional, fourth wave, college feminist. They'd make Luanne "bisexual" (lesbian). And make Bobby "non-binary." They'd also throw in an angry black woman as a supporting character cause "the show is too white." They'd easily decimate that show, and then call everyone who hates it "bigots and incels" like always.

Hell, just look at this.

Watched it and was entertained because Mike Judge is hilarious, but I wasn't a die hard fan of it. Definitely quotable.

Same goes for Beavis and Butthead. Same guy, some similarities with the show, but its own spin and jokes.

I truly hope they don't get rebooted because I feel they had their run and ended at an appropriate time

The 2011 version is trash. This one is legit, though. Aside from the modern references (the standalone movie "Beavis and Butthead Do The Universe," which is also good, explains why they're in 2022), it's like the show never left. Just as good as the 90s version.
