I don't mind watching stuff at home, but the streaming model for movies has absolutely decimated the quality of productions. Streaming is good for shows, but movies (especially action, horror, and sci-fi) are better in theaters.
Both are good. I usually always netflix at home. I went to movie theatre last week (alone) after a very long time of not going and it just felt different in a good way. I was just really thrilled for some reason. Maybe it was because I haven't done it in a while. I don't know if I'll start going more often.
I’m old school. Theatre for me with lots of snacks! Those good old days 🤣. My popcorn is done before the actual movie starts 😑.
I e only used netflix once or twice in life. Bot my style. I prefer cable and then movie theaters

I very much rather to relax and enjoy Netflix on my terms and comfort... and it might not be a big giant screen but the screen at my place is big enough, lol
same lol...
and I really don't miss the overpriced snacks either... I can get it all at home as well
My SO and I watch more Netflix at home than going to the movie theater, but there are some movies, like Top Gun Maverick, that is much better at the theater.
A movie at home Is always nice, my husband likes going to theater but going there puts me to sleep these days.
Movie theatre
@zenjen444 Netflix is cool but the price is outrageous
How expensive?
@HippieVeganJewslim In America where I live it's $19.00 a month too much for my pocket
And how much is a cinema ticket?
Depends on the situation, staying home is nice but renting out the theater and watching the movie with just your people is nice too
Yes exactly, some movies hit different depending where you watch em lol
Netflix. I have an irrational fear of cinema. I can pause it, change the volume, rewatch a part, and even turn on the subtitles, furthermore on Netflix. Then, there are many other films I can watch on YouTube, or other sites.
Movie theater if clean and people are quiet and the prices are 1980s cheap.
Otherwise at home.
Unfortunately no, movie tickets themselves are pricey everywhere too now. I'd need the price on tickets and food to drop a lot to see a point to going again.
Not because I can't afford it, but because why pay more for less? Especially when I can just rent or stream the movie at home on a comfy couch while eating pizza that cost less than movie theater popcorn (and not have anyone yelling spoilers or throwing skittles at me).
It really depends. But for the most part I prefer home. Cheaper and more relaxing. But some movies are for sure meant to be scene on the big screen
