Who is funding Hollywood so they can keep on making crappy tv shows/movies?

This was the lowest amount of September money brought in by the Hollywood box office in 25 years (Pandemic September 2020 excluded, when just one movie was released, in the 5% of theaters open). And that utter shit in tickets sales doesn't even account for the reality that tickets cost more than twice as much as 25 years ago. OOOOFFFF!!!

Get woke, go broke is in full force these day; even seeing it in tv shows made by amazon. Yet Hollywood continue doing it.

The two leading movies: one with completely faked/anti-history, the other with anti-male tropes. 'The Woman King' and 'Don't Worry Darling' are flops.

They'll both barely cover their medium sized filming budgets, which is only half of what movies actually cost. In particular 'The Woman King' was supposed to bring in hundreds of millions of dollars, but didn't even hit a $20 opening weekend, and has sunk since. This wokeness is killing movie theaters themselves too. Regal Cinemas is in bankruptcy, the AMC (theaters) is hanging by a thread. Hollywood's constant agenda has killed movies.

So if hollywood is hemorrhaging out money and still continue to make bad movies/tv shows that cater to the twitter mob, we have to wonder who is covering their bases? Someone has to be backing these movie studies to continue making content that is just not working.

This may come across as condescending and I apologize in advance. Have you seen the type of people who consider themselves movie enthusiasts?

They are usually the type of people that exist on the fringes of society. I wouldn't look too deeply into Hollywood or who they cater for. Their audience aren't the type of people you necessarily would like or find yourself having much in common with.

This question reminds me a lot of the WMBA issue where the female players wanted as much money as the male players...

But the market decides who and where the attention should be placed depending on who puts up the money. Don't demand Hollywood was better, either you cough up the money that will cause them to sway towards the type of content you Iike or you let it be.

Another question you need to ask is who goes into movie production? Is it people who live in real life or people who live in a fantasy world? If you head to hazard and guess who do you think is in film school right now? Is it going to be a lower middle class person who works for a living, or is it going to be a trust fund baby who Sailed through public education and went to some kind of Marxist indoctrination camp for what passes for higher education new things? If I had to hazard a guess it’s going to be a trust fund millionaire who actually believes what they were indoctrinated to believe up to this point through their graduation of film school. I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase garbage in garbage out before.

Who knows, but I have not seen any movie in theaters this year except Top Gun 2. And yes, She-Hulk is a Hulk of boring garbage. Turned it off when it reached the part where she could do after one transformation what it took Bruce years and years to be able to do.

The Marvel/Starwars Shows have been lacking sure but they can all be fairly enjoyable too. Same with the movies
