Compared to the beatles, ac dc, rolling stones, elvis... the energy of that music vs what was coming out in the end stages... totally different feelings

I shouldn't have to look for good music in a genre. When i look up POPULAR rap from the 90s and 2000s, it has a different feel than whats made today

Music requires evolution. 90s rock gave us grunge rock such as nirvana , Pearl Jam and radio head. If you are not a fan then that’s fine but to say that it’s shit and has no value would be absolutely ridiculous.
