when I would be playing GTA 4... most of the time I had the radio set to The Vibe 98.8 because of this reason... lol

one time, my father walked by and then stopped, kept staring kind of confused and he finally asked me " is that the TV I hear... is it the game? are you really playing gang shooting on the streets while listening to the smoothest? are you serious? " lmfao...

then I had to explain a few things, lol... but yes, these is among his favorite music and that's how I first heard of it

and then... Footsteps in the Dark started to play, so he kept watching while I did "clear" an apartment building full of thugs, and my father kept shaking his head lmao... then he just walked away, lol

I love Motown. Although I use the term broadly to include a lot of similar music that's not literally on the Motown label.

It was better when Motown Records was still in Detroit. The Motown sound went away when Berry Gordy III aka Berry Gordy Jr took Motown Records to Los Angeles. This is coming from a life long Michigander.
