What video game are you currently playing and how would you rate it?

Well, I WAS playing Disco Elysium, and currently I'd rate it "Apparently the gods don't want me to finish this game". See, it caught my notice long before it was released, when it was titled "No Truce With The Furies", and I thought it sounded like something worth keeping an eye on. Then I heard nothing for several years, and assumed the project had been abandoned, but when I looked it up one day, discovered they'd changed the name (which explained why I hadn't heard anything more), and actually released it. Cool! I grabbed it when it went on sale, but was still in the middle of some other games, so just added it to my backlog.

When I reached the point where it was next on the list, they announced that there was a free expansion coming in just a few weeks, so I moved on AGAIN, waiting for that. Then, just a week or two ago, everything was in place, and I started playing, and was pretty intrigued...

Then my system drive died.

Since I don't have the money to replace it, Windows 7 won't install on an NTFS drive, and the only ones I've got are too big for MBR, I've forcibly migrated to Linux (which was going to happen anyway, but I'd hoped to be able to PLAN for it), and there isn't a Linux version.

So I'd rate the first few hours as "very interesting", but I don't know about the rest, yet.

Started Triangle Strategy after the price dropped down to 30€ for the physical copy. Not to far in, so i can only say, it starts really slow, in the first hour, there is only one fight and lots of dialogue.

Before that i played The Ruined King, the League of Legends RPG, and its okay, i don't have any connection to the characters as i only played LOL for 30mins. But without any knowledge its still a well made JRPG.
I would give it 8/10, but you have to love turnbased JRPGs or be a huge fan of LOL.

I have not done video games since 2020 when I lost my job and began writing books. I considered using my last pay cheque to buy a game console but I spent it on academic textbooks and technology.

Multiple games. Pokemon Yellow  on the Virtual Console with Mew. Pokemon Crystal  on the Virtual Console. Pokemon Renegade Platinum  (a 2022 updated ROM hack to Platinum) on my Nintendo DS Lite. Pokemon Ultra Sun  on my New Nintendo 3DS XL; trying to complete a Kanto Pokedex. Sunset Overdrive  (2018) on Steam. Resident Evil Revelations  on Steam. I like all of them, but I forgot how crappy gen 2 was in Pokemon.

None. I don't bother playing video games. I have too many other projects to work on. Every great once in a while I'll platy some form of Solitaire or Mahjong. Usually if I'm auditioning music for this or that project and just can't or don't want to get involved in any of the other projects.

Destiny 2. I like it a lot but it also pisses me off sometimes.

Solid gameplay mechanics
Unique, vibrant, and imaginitive setting
Excellent visual art style
Extensive and incredible story.

Playing Cyberpunk 2077 again and while it’s still lacking some features. The game and it’s story especially are still amazing. I’ll give it an 8.5/10 currently.
