What video games have you been playing?

I’m a fan of rpgs and simulator games, I’d love some recommendations if you have any

My path was something like this:

• 1st era: platformers, action-platformers, action-rpgs
• 2nd era: j-rpgs, platformers, action-platformers, strategy-sim
• 3rd era: c-rpgs, point and click, simulators, strategy-sim
• 4th era: j-rpgs, t-rpgs, strategy-sim, multiplayer fps
• Actual: hard to say... Strategy-sim and mostly odd indies

Recommendations, if you like freedom to manage absolutely everything, then I've been much impressed by RimWorld. It's a colony simulator giving you fine control on psychology, culture, morals plus the classic tech and resource management as well as tactical combat. Easy mode turns into a societal simulation but standard difficulty and above will put you through tough decisions for survival. I will never remove organs from a living """donor""" again.

Final Fantasy 14, Civilization 5 (until 7 comes out next month), TCG card shop simulator, Let's build a zoo, Stardew Valley, Fortnite, a bit of Overwatch and Marvel Rivals, Grounded, and Diablo 3 are the main ones but there are others.

Wish I had time to get back into gaming, but impossible with a high needs baby. But prior to him, I played a lot of minecraft, killing floor 2, slime rancher and id just gotten into darksiders
