How many Halloween movies are there in order?

One of the well-known productions is the Halloween Series. In what order would you recommend me to watch this series?

Pfft don't get me started. The 1st and 2nd film are direct follow on's and great. The rest are all... trash except for the 1st rob zombie remake.
The reboots people like them but I see them as cheap cashgrabs really plus retconning the 2nd film for no reason and no doubt Halloween ends will not be the end lol.

Also in one of the films way back there was something about a cult that just shows up out of nowhere it's funny but bad. And it's still funny how they call him The Shape.

Tbh I just don't have much good to say about the writing and creation of Halloween it was a fairly basic story that ended when it ended but they kept prolonging it.
Unlike Chucky, or Freddy or Jason, Micheal Myers has no reason to keep coming back.

I’ve seen most of the Halloween movies. You should definitely watch the original from 1978. Part two is also good. Part three doesn’t feature Michael Myers and has a completely different story. Parts four and five are my favorite and I highly recommend them. Part six was pretty bad. Seven and eight also not very good. Then we have the Rob Zombie remakes. I’ve only seen the 2007 one, but there is also a 2009 sequel. Truth be told, didn’t like it. And finally we have Halloween from 2018 which is a sequel to the original 1978 movie. It was decent. The final two are Halloween Kills and Halloween Ends which is supposed to be the final movie, however I feel like eventually they will make another.

I love the original Halloween movie and I wish they would stop remaking the originals. Halloween kills suck! And the one Halloween about the toy salesman definitely suck.

Watch everything with Jamie Lee in chronological order. There’ll be a surge in suspension of disbelief between “Resurrection” and “Halloween” (2018), but you’ll survive.
Then watch the Rob Zombie remakes. The first one is brilliant! The second one is kinda weird toward the end, but still pretty decent.

1, 2, then the last 3 which I don't remember the exact names.  3 has nothing to do with Michael Myers. 4 and 5 are just not part of the series. I got this info from another on here. Lol.
