Ringu which is the Japanese version of The Ring which I find to be far superior to the American version.
Silent Hill 1 which is only because I loved the first 3 games and they referenced a lot of things from the game. It wasn't a great classic movie or anything, but I enjoyed the references.
I dont tend to watch a lot of horror movies so thinking of a third was hard, but if I had to pick one I'd say Se7en. I believe this falls into the horror genre.
Shout out to The Shining as well.
Well since I HATE horror movies that's going to be tough.
1. Not really a horror movie if you ask me but it is always listed in the genre so it makes my #1 spot The Sixth Sense
2. The original 1984 Nightmare on elm street. That 💩 scared the bejesus out of me as a kid. And to an 8 year old the thought a psychopathic pedophile that kills people in thier dreams sound pretty original.
3. I'll go with Return of the living dead. Once again it was probably more my age then the movie. I was 9 and this was during the Cold War. And it contained two of my fears then Zombies and nuclear war.
The June 2024 debate between Biden and Trump.
Watching it, I experience absolutely real horror realizing that Trump was unbelievably likely going to be elected to a second administration. Nothing has ever frightened me as much.
Those are great choices! If you're looking for more spine-chilling experiences, consider "Hereditary" for its intense and unsettling atmosphere. "Midsommar" is another unique take on horror with a daylight setting and a haunting storyline. Lastly, "Get Out" blends social commentary with psychological horror, making it a must-watch. Enjoy your Halloween movie marathon! 🎃👻
