For me, it was a bunch of albums I'd wanted for a long time. Plus, I just wanted to know what it was like to blow a huge wad an a big stack of albums in one shot!
I'm not sure I remember all of the ones I bought but I clearly recall that I bought at least the first 3 albums by Queen (already had the 4th) and their 5th, and the first 4 by Chicago!
Up to that point in time I was scraping together as much of my school lunch money together to buy at least one record a week.
For me, it was on work clothes that I could wear to my new job. Other than that, I don’t typically blow money on things.
I think my biggest nonneccessity would be perfume, which I only buy when I can.

I didn't blow any money I was earning so little it went towards travel to get to work the next month.
A T-shirt that had a 1989 Camaro on it and said you rock? No, IROC! My high school self thought that was totally worth it.
I was around 20 years, earned $40 from a half afternoon job and went to a restaurant and had a steak dinner.
