I would say that James Arthur is absolutely a highly sensitive person.
His audition interpreting Tulisa's - 'Young' on X Factor UK is clear evidence of his sensitivity.

I watched a few of his interviews in the past, and he actually talked about being very sensitive in one of them.

  I can't remember since it was a few years ago. All I know is that interviewer asked him something about being sensitive, and he confirmed it - saying that he is very sensitive.
