• The Pillars of the Earth trilogy, by Ken Follett
• For God, Country & Coca-Cola and Uncommon Grounds (the history of coffee and how it transformed the world), both by Mark Pendergrass
• Barons of the Sea (and their race to build the world's fastest clipper ship), by Steven Ujifusa

"Hidden History: the Secret Origins of the First World War" by Gerry Docherty and James MacGregor. It illustrates how a literal handful of elites, operating in secrecy, can manipulate world events. It also shows how people with power can control the historic narrative and manipulate the opinions/perceptions of almost everyone on the planet.

"The Globalization of Poverty and the New World Order" by Michel Chossudovsky is crucial.

Maybe "1984" for one glimpse of the future that the globalist elites have in mind.

Fascinating that out of 11 opinions, we already have three selections of 1984. I'm sensing another question developing.

1984 by George Orwell - It spells out to a T what we are seeing transpire right now. Almost scary how accurate.

The Great Reset by Glenn Beck - Is very accurate and informative regarding our coming tyrannical financial system dealing with ESG and the fact that they don’t want anyone privately owning anything

None Dare Call It Conspiracy by Gary Allen - Exposing the evils of global governance and nations giving up sovereignty

I think you'll enjoy it. We staged it when I was in high school. It was dystopian and chilling. Our teacher, the Director, didn't take into account how depressing it really was. Coupled with the fall weather that was happening, we were a dreary lot. He brought the school counselor in for most of the production to hang with us. Anyway, it's a great read.

woww a Ken Follett book would definitely have been on my list and Pillars of the Earth is one of the best. i think my favorite (and the one i loan out the most is Dangerous Fortune

YES! I cannot tell you how exciting it is to find someone who knows the name (although he's sold so many books, it's surprising more folks don't mention him). And, The Pillars of the Earth is fantastic. Have you read the prequal he wrote? Dangerous Fortune is amazing. And, if you haven't read the Winter of the World trilogy, that's amazing too.

Wow... have not heard "The Little Prince" in years. My mom read me that book. Oddly, I found myself in the den sometimes on breaks during high school and I'd pick that book and read it. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
