Well, I actually liked The Frighteners; yes, it's cheesy and kinda shlocky, but it makes no pretense about that, and is enjoyable for what it is. And the Lord of the Rings, while admittedly a time commitment, is fantastic- although watching the non-director's cuts would probably irk me in several ways. And although I only saw the first, my understanding is that the Narnia films DID, in fact, get to the third book, which is easily the best adventure story (I'd argue it's the best overall, but that's more up for debate). Rampage was a video game movie- they all suck, and the only ones that aren't awful are the ones that are SUPPOSED to suck (like Postal).
Deep Blue Sea I also haven't seen, but they stole the poster from Lake Placid:
And instead of Bridget Fonda and Betty White, it had Saffron Burrows, who was in the Movie That Shall Not Be Named.
Of course, it's a blatantly obvious movie poster design, but it kinda makes me want to make a horror movie about a giant bikini-clad beach babe who stalks the oceans, devouring sea monsters and has a climactic fight with a group of environmentalists at the end.
The others I haven't seen, and mostly haven't heard of.
Omg someone who finally saw the Frighteners!! Usually i have to beg people to give it a try but i loooove that film although the ending church chase is a bit creepy haha. I personally didn't like the narnia sequels. I liked Rampage because i didn't play the video game so i went by movie alone. Deep Blue Sea was amazing!! But both films came out in 1999 and Deep Blue Sea honestly had more scenes with the animal attack. Lake Placid had a great ending chase but Deep Blue Sea was awesome with every death and filled with several celebs (Samuel L Jackson, Thomas Jane, LL Cool J, etc). And i believe they used a robotic shark or something like how Jurassic park had a few robots. Saffron was the most annoying character in Deep Blue Sea though.
Well Lord of The Rings is a favourite book. I like fantasy and there is a lot more history in LOTR then what you might think. I like history.
As a guy it might seem strange I like RomComs. But I like anything that makes me laugh and when you think about Guys and Gals are really funny together; it's a tragi comedy mostly.
You can go anywhere in the world and "girls hah!" and shrug your shoulders, and despite the local guys not knowing a word of English, you will be met with complete understanding and laughing sympathy.
I am pretty sure this works with girls saying 'men hah!"
Oh yea im not big on historical stuff
I will never... watch that damn thing that tried to revive the original mask again. Little me was nice to say "this movie isn't that bad." Me now- i wasted my money on this dumb shi
So happy death day 2 u and the others.
😂😂😂 jamie was horrible in the mask but the baby and dogs mask scene is what's so good
😂😂😂
I saw many already. Maybe Tomorrowland or skyfall. I don't think I've sat to properly watch a James bond... or maybe I saw obe and thought I saw all lol
I own them all lol just wondering which to show my grandparents
Skyfall and Live and Let Die were the two bond film i could actually enjoy

Skyfall and Hobbs and Shaw
I haven't seen Skyfall in sooo long plus i really wanna hear Adele sing that song. We watch Hobbs & Shaw almost yearly but i just really loved Idris kickin their ass 😂 its so shockin to see Jason stunned
I agree!! Classics in my opinion
Okay, I will comment lol.😅
I have watched these many from the list and I know them to be good enough. Hence, them.
And I commented!
Its about time haha!! And yes i love Hobbs and Shaw so much
I love the 007 movies and haven’t seen sky fall yet…
I need to make that happen. I loved all of the LOTR movies but they take so long…
Hobs and Shaw sounds amazing and I’m annoyed a little that I haven’t watched it yet.
so I voted A but C would be a good one too.
Omg Skyfall is honestly one of the best next to Live & Let Die. Hobbs and Shaw was sooo good although i wish the Rock would stop his yappin
Okay then! I will pout both of those at the top of my list then!! 😉😊
I really liked Kiki’s delivery service.
I did as a kid but now i wouldn't pay $17 to own it
That is fair for sure. It’s short and low budget if I recall. In comparison at least…. I think I did pay $20 for it on blue ray a few years ago. But I also had t seen it yet. I had been told that I needed to own all of the studio ghibli stuff. So I went and bought them and regretted half of those purchases…
It didn't seem low budget at all. Just short
Oh cool then! Lol!
LOTR and Commando, just good time waster movies. I love token though, but I have seen the movies sooooooo many times.
I love Harry Potter as well... new LOTR serious is really good, like the new Willow series as well... but I think Disney cheapens it's with the lesbian thing. People who get into these types of genres do not do it for have contemporary social/political issues blatantly pushed on them.
Commando is my fave film to watch with my grandpa (aside from King Kong 2005 and Godzilla 1998). We’re burnt out on HP. And yea i dont like the newer disney films
I like Commando, Jingle All the Way and 6th Day. I used to like End of Days but it creeps me out now. Surprisingly only Predator films i liked was AVP 1/2, Predators (with Adrien Brody) and The Predator (with Olivia Munn). But i wasn't a fan of P1 not P2.
If you are looking for movie recomendations, this poll is not the way to do it because I, and probably most people, would pick a movie they haven't seen yet.
I picked love and monsters because it looks decent and I haven't seen it.
My top 3 picks of movies I have seen are:
1. Lord of the Rings
2. Skyfall
3. Hobbs&Shaw
Some of them like Monster Hunter were meh.. Wolverine was pretty good. Commando is good but dated. Hulk was garbage. Kiki's delivery service I would probably watch, the animation looks really good.
Love & Monsters looked amazing but thats it. I watched it like a year ago and it lacked storyline and extra characters (until around the end). It couldve been much greater but was not bad. Love & Monsters was basically another Monster Hunter 😂 however you’d rate t out of 10 is legit the same, trust! But pawpaw and i love seeing monsters so we rewatch em anyways haha
Commando will never get old!!
Yeah, that's what I thought about Monster Hunter, it was decent but could have been so much better. I love Commando but it does feel very 80's to me, so I thought others might think it dated. Now Predator or T2 I would recommend a heartbeat. Tomorrowland.. I know I enjoyed but don't remember a thing about it. Couldn't even remember it had George Clooney in it.
You should try a LOTR movie marathon, the 3 Hobbit movies followed by the Lord of the Rings trilogy back to back :D
Dont hate me lol but i’m not big on the first two predator films (arnold/danny) 😂 I never even finished dannys and i fastforwarded through most of arnolds. Im sure they had epic endings but i need to be attached throughout and thats why i loved Predators (with Adrien) in terms of the action and casting. But he wasn't as believable as a lead soldier after seeing him lose his girl to king kong in 2005 😂 And then i liked The Predator with Olivia Munn but not because of her. Her acting was so bad but i loved the team of ex con/awol soldiers having to fight the Predator. It had good action and acting in my opinion. I liked AVP 1 for the action but AVP 2 for the acting. As for Terminator, I was never just crazy about any of them aside from Genisys which most hate lol. But i enjoyed the villains in T2 and T3 more than all the other villains. I couldnt even watch LoTR first film past 30 mins the 3 times i tried 😂 there's no way i could movie marathon it like I did Harry Potter or the Hobbit lol.
That was a very tough choice. Some had good movies I like watching. I picked B. I'm a Milla fan but way more a Hulk fan. I would like to see Love and Monsters. If it's anything like Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter or Pride, Predudice, and Zombies.
Love & Monsters and Monster Hunter both lack characters because they get rid of the cast so quickly in the beginning then throw in random new characters near the end. Both are 6/10 but i own and rewatch em anyways cause i like the look of the monsters haha. And nah theyre nothing like the other films you named
Monster Hunter was good. A good take off the video game. LOTR is much better than the Hobbit ones. I haven't bought The Hobbit set and not sure if I ever will. The only things the same from the book is the names.
Lol you're the only game player i know who said they liked it. Most hated it. I just hated that they killed off her crew early on but i enjoyed the monster scenes. I bought a set that has Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit bundles so its 6 dvds in one
Can never compare movies to games or else Resident Evil would not have done well. There's no Alice in the games. Lol
Yea im one of the few who wasn't a fan of the games mainly because they scared me as a kid yet i was a huge fan of the films. I loved RE 1, RE Extinction, and RE Retribution. Apocalypse, Afterlife and Final Chapter were honestly disappointing
Those 3 were kind of disappointing. Yet worth watching. It finished up the story with the zombies just ruling the world. Have you seen Warm Bodies?
It started off good but then i tuned out
🤣🤣
I *HAVE* to watch one of these sh*tty movies? Fine.
The only not-bad movie on here is Kiki's Delivery Service, but I'm not a little girl and all my students love that movie, so I guess I'd go with the Studio Ghibli flick. I guess the first Lord of the Rings is probably a good movie too, but I've never seen it before to confirm.
Aside from that, either X-Men Origins: Wolverine (the worst of the Fox X-Men movies), 2008's The Incredible Hulk; the one people like to pretend isn't par of the MCU canon and pretend Iron Man came first. Or Rampage, if I'm sleep-deprived enough (I'd say "drunk" but I can't get drunk.)
The first Lord of the Rings is hard to get through. I started it 3 times and always atop 30 mins in lmao. Origins was my fave Wolverine film tbh
Voted D for Deep Blue Sea because I don’t think I’ve seen a single other movie on this list, haven’t even heard of most😂
Love Deep Blue Sea
Lord of the Rings and Kiky delivery service
I yet to really get to see them yet, and heared there good (read the book)
We just watched Kiki tonight. That was my third time in life seeing it. I loved it as a kid but now i was mad the movie ended so quickly lmao
I have seen most of these movies either in theaters or streaming. I picked D because I am a Schwarzenegger action star fan and like Lord of the Rings mostly the first 3. Not to big a fan after that.
Love Commando!
Skyfall, LOTR, Lion Witch & Wardrobe, Wolverine
LOTR is a whole day event though - especially if you do all 3 extended cuts
Yea its hard enough getting through one LoTR. I wouldn't dare do more than 1 a day unless it was Harry Potter or The Hobbit
I never seen UnBroken or Tomorrowland.. Those would the the only movies that I haven't seen that seems interesting up there..
You gotta see Unbroken man!!
Narnia, I already saw wolverine, monser hunter, hulk, the sixty day, commando, deep blue sea, lord of the rings, and rampage. The rest I don't care about.
I've seen them all. I own them
Lmao
Maybe Unbroken? I haven't seen it and it looks interesting. 007 is always entertaining.
Unbroken is reeeally good. I recommend it. I've seen it several times
Either Skyfall or Lord of the Rings. Haply Death Day 2 gets an honorable mention
Skyfall and HDD2U are just sooo good i had to list em
Tree was one of the only female characters I liked in recent movies amd shows. Funny and relatable to a degree
If you liked her, i recommend watching Ready Or Not. That girl is also a great actress and reminds me of her
Oh, Samara Weaving is cool too. Saw her in The Babysitter and her uncle is fucking Agent Smith. She is cool too
here's my fave scene with her. The way she cusses. Its only 18 seconds
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uaKkJ0oHyFg
I see a few films I've watched and really like. I guess I'll go with b cause I do like monster flicks. I usually like horror and sci-fi movies.
I actually have many of these on DVD , Skyfall, Haunted Mansion, The sixth Day, Tomorrow land, Son of the Mask and Deep Blue Sea
I have them all on dvd thats why i put em on the poll 😂
Ah ok, lol, I do have most of them, we probably have the same interests in movies
I dont wanna list all 1,000+ 😂
Same, I think I have 2,000 or more
Grrrr competition lol
Lol, been buying dvds since 1999
I owned some already but didn't start collecting until like a year before the pandemic hit
I guess you made up for lost time with your current collection, not many people buy dvds as much anymore, now vinyl is surpassing it
Yea i am not a aan of vinyl. That cracklin sound irks me
Yeah that’s what happens when they are used a lot and not taken care of, it’s all we had at the time when I was young , no cassettes yet
I've never used a cassette in life lmao
Wow I guess you just missed that era, probably never seen or used an 8 track tape player then 😊
Wow an 8 track looks like a weird video game
Oh you looked one up? It’s funny that they called it an eight track. Meanwhile, it only had four tracks to listen to but because it was in stereo, it had eight tracks.
Oh the track refers to the songs😂
Yeah sort of , each song has left and right sound for stereo effect which is 2 tracks. 4 channels of music times 2 is 8 tracks
LOTR and Narnia are the only ones that I like among all of them
Okay :)
@ᗰIᑎᑕᕼᗩᑎ really want to see Unbroken! I haven’t seen any of those other moVies except Narnia.
Unbroken is awesome! I've never seen its sequel tho
D. I kind of want to see The Fellowship of the Ring.
I haven't watched any of LoTT. Just the amazing hobbit movies
LoTR
I haven’t seen any of Bilbo or Frodo films. I just remember my mum reading LotR to us as kids and The Hobbit as a teenager.
